Product Description:
Basalt continuous fiber roving is a basalt fiber product made of parallel strand or parallel strand of single strand without twisting.
Characteristic:
The tensile strength is greater than 0.6N/tex, the elastic modulus is greater than 91GPa, and the elongation at break is more than 2%. Basalt continuous fiber has many advantages such as tensile strength, compression strength, stiffness and fatigue resistance. Therefore, it is used in bulletproof armor: it has the function of anti explosion debris and wave damage, and has the functions of anti ricochet, no crack and no two kill fragments. It has better performance as backing material of ceramic clad armor system. It has excellent chemical resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, salt resistance and good UV radiation resistance.
