N- hydroxymethyl acrylamide NMA is a special crosslinking agent monomer. It is a white crystal at room temperature. It can be dissolved in water and hydrophilic solvent. It has two different functional groups, one is vinyl which can be polymerizing, and the other is N- hydroxymethyl. Polymers containing NMA can be cross-linked by heating or adding acid catalysts. Polymers with cross-linked structure can be obtained without adding cross linker. As long as the reaction conditions are correctly grasped and the characteristics of NMA are used for various reactions, the desired high molecular polymer can be produced.
