From the age of 10, little Pichler began his journey to the top of his dream. 20 years later, all the peaks of Europe left Pichler's peak imprint.
In 1973, Pichler and his childhood friends formed a mountaineering team. During the outdoor trip, Gerwalt Pichler helped his team purchase a lot of equipment with their rich experience. But the poor equipment made him decide to develop more suitable outdoor products. As a result, NORTHLAND was born in the second largest city of Austria, Graz (Graz).
