Shoes * natural * human nature Human Nature * PUMA

  运动鞋除了穿着和收藏,还可以做什么?在哥伦比亚艺术家Federico Uribe手中,它成为了重构自然,表达人性(Human Nature)的设计元素。

Uribe's masterpiece "Human Nature" vividly restored the "nature" with tens of thousands of pairs of PUMA sports shoes: the golden sun, the green forest, the ape monkeys climbing the branches, the giraffe with the head down, the zebra tame and the tame pulse.

These sculptures, similar to the size of real animals, are made of more than 700 pairs of PUMA sports shoes, wood blocks, wire and thousands of shoelaces.

One of the blood red "tigers" is especially wonderful: its eyes are sharp, as if it is about to jump out of the "grass" and attack the prey ahead.

Federico Uribe was born in Columbia in 1962 and has been living under the sunshine of Miami.

Early in painting, he became interested in sculpture. He often used milk bottles, coins, screws, and small objects from the stalls to be used as materials to glue together to create sculpture.

With its creativity and sensitivity in color, shape, texture, line and symbolism, Uribe quickly became the leader of contemporary concept creation artists. Its works have also been exhibited around the world.

Uribe's talent was soon discovered by PUMA. As a world-renowned sports brand and an advocate of sports lifestyle, PUMA is very willing to cooperate with talented artists and designers all over the world, and is willing to provide support and assistance to them.

The product concept of PUMA is that it brings unexpected surprises to people through scientific and technological inventions and revolutionary designs, which has a strong resonance with the design style of Uribe.

Uribe has the chance to cooperate with Miwara Yasuhiro, Alexander McQueen, Alexander von Slobbe, and so on.

Uribe started his artistic creation of PUMA sports shoes in 2006.

"When I started dealing with shoes, I naturally began to think: where did they come from?

Oh, nature!

Nature has given us everything we need in life, so I have the desire to praise her, and have produced the idea of using shoes to reconstruct the nature.

Raccoons, lizards, rabbits, swans, parrots...

Uribe, based on the inspiration from different styles of sports shoes, reduced them to a lifelike sculpture and named it "Human Nature".

This series of works has been recognized by PUMA and has been made into a series of advertisements, appearing in billboards and magazines all over the world.

"I think all animals are human.

I hope I can bring every pair of shoes back to its original ecology, that is, a lively and energetic animal.

Though I can't give them real life, I can still give them an echo of life - that's exactly what I think is art.
