The March Cotton Mill In The United States Used 4 Million 230 Thousand Bags A Year.

The National Cotton Council reported on Thursday that the seasonally adjusted rate of cotton consumption in the US textile mill in March was 4 million 233 thousand bales (480 pounds), down from 4 million 781 thousand packets in the same period last year.



Cotton consumption in March was 4 million 527 thousand less than that in February.

The cotton Commission of the United States revised the cotton consumption in February down to 4 million 699 thousand packs last month.



In addition, the US Bureau of statistics reports that the daily consumption of cotton in March (5 weeks) has been reduced to 15594 packs, which is lower than that of last month's (4 weeks) 16632 pack.

The amount of cotton is less than 17611 bales of last year.



In March (5 weeks), the daily consumption of unadjusted cotton was 16060 packs, down from 17069 packs in February.



Cotton consumption increased to 401486 bales in March, up from 341370 in February, down from 461388 last year.
