Wuhan Huada new type electric motor Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise transformed from the new motor factory of Huazhong University of science and technology. Relying on the multidisciplinary advantages of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Hua Yuan Polytechnic University), the company developed and produced a high-power six phase reaction stepper motor in 70s. It was one of the earliest manufacturers of commercialized stepper motors in China. Later, it developed and produced three-phase magnetoresistive stepping motors. In 80s, it did not undertake the major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the new type alternating current drive and its motor. It developed a three phase permanent magnet synchronous AC servo motor series. In 91, it passed the new product appraisal meeting hosted by the Hubei Provincial Economic Commission and passed the appraisal and acceptance of the National Natural Science Foundation of China for 93 years. It is the first domestic manufacturer of commercialized AC servo motor series in China. In 90s, the three-phase hybrid stepping motor was developed and produced independently. It was the first to introduce sinusoidal current driving in China.
