Yuanjiang Mingxing Hemp Industry Co., Ltd. is a large private textile enterprise producing ramie yarn, cloth and denim. In November 2003, the company acquired Yuanjiang ramie textile mill as a whole. In April 2004, Xiang Yuan dyeing and Weaving Co., Ltd. became one of the four largest ramie textile factories in Hunan province and the largest denim manufacturer.

The company has seven branches, namely, degumming, carding, spinning, weaving, air spinning, short fiber hemp and dyeing and weaving. It has 10000 long spindles, 864 spinning machines in West Germany, 166 loom looms, 80 rapier looms, 80 sets of Hongkong dyeing and dyeing machines, 30 world-class Swiss P7100 loom looms, a set of pre shrinking machines in Italy, and 90 million yuan in fixed assets. It mainly produces series of products including refined hemp, ramie short fiber, pure hemp, pure linen, linen cotton, polyester and linen fabric, jacquard cloth, dyed fabric, denim and so on. At present, it produces 4000 tons of refined hemp, 1300 tons of pure ramie yarn, 2000 tons of air spinning, pure hemp, interweave, dyed fabric, jacquard cloth 6 million meters, and denim 5 million meters.

The company has a total of 1400 employees, including 60 engineering and technical personnel.
