The toothed coupling is composed of internal gear ring with the same number of teeth and flange half coupling with outer teeth. The outer teeth are divided into two types: straight teeth and drum teeth. The so-called drum teeth are made into spherical surfaces, and the center of the spherical gear is on the axis of the gear. The side clearance of the gear is larger than that of the general gear. The drum gear coupling can allow larger angular displacement (relative to the straight tooth coupling), which can improve the contact conditions of the teeth, increase the ability of transmitting the torque, and prolong the service life. The work of elastic sleeve is subjected to compression deformation. Because the thickness of the elastic sleeve is thin, the volume is small, and the elastic deformation is limited, the elastic sleeve pin coupling can compensate for the displacement and elasticity of the axis, but the axial displacement allowance is less and the elasticity is weaker. The elastic sleeve pin coupling is generated by the locking force of the pin pin group and is generated by the friction torque on the contact surface, and the rubber elastic sleeve is compressed to transmit the torque. It is suitable for transmission of medium and small power shafts with good rigidity, high precision, little impact load and low vibration damping requirements.
