1968年,年轻俊杰的Gauts被推荐到巴黎高级时装学院(ESMOO)并逐渐成为巴黎时装界备受注目的年轻设计师;1975年Gauts创立了"GAUTS"品牌,在巴黎里兹酒店举办的首发沙龙中,Gauts将服装带入了一个更显彰贵的境界.     

2003年法国时尚服装学会,在巴黎举办了关于法国时尚品牌进入亚洲市场论坛,研究讨论亚洲城市经济及消费者的消费能力,同时邀请中国服装协会副会长中国杉杉集团董事会主席郑永刚先生,作为中国区特约嘉宾,经过讨论交流,GAUTS成为了会场的一个焦点,会后通过与法国GAUTS品牌公司的交流和谈判,最后在2005年8月1日法国巴黎GAUTS总部,签定了关于GAUTS品牌在中国大陆的品牌推广伙伴.
